　We present three cases of single umbilical artery, and all were diagnosed antenatally, with ultrasonography. In two out of three cases, various fetal anomalies were recognized antenatally. Deaths occurred in all cases. Therefore, it is necessary to examine the umbilical cord as a part of the antenatal ultrasonographic diagnosis.
