キーワード : Potato liver, Ultrasonography
We experienced two cases with potato liver, the ultrasonography of the liver showed iso or slightly hyperechoic giant nodules without any malignant findings. The nodules oppressed hepatic veins. Margin of the nodule showed clear hyperechoic zone connected with glissonian echoes and vague appearance in part, and background parenchyma except nodules had almost normal ultrasonic findings. We considered that ultrasonography is useful for the diagnosis of the potato liver.
