A case of prostatic chondrosarcoma occurred in 20 year-old male was reported. Transrectal sonography revealed that the tumor was originated from the prostate, although conventional examinations offered no effective information. The internal echoes of tumor showed mixed pattern. This was thought to be the third case of prostatic chondrosarcoma in the world and the first case in Japan.
