The number of patients with paresthesia of their throat is increasing. The most important point is to rule out malignant tumors. Ultrasound findings of the thyroid showed the space occupying lesions in 30.3% of the patients with paresthesia of their throat. We found cancers in 1.14% of those patients.
Ultrasonography is significant for the screening thyroid abnormal lesions, and is essential for medical examination of the patients with paresthesia of their throat.
