Two cases of intussusception caused by an inverted Meckel's diverticulum have been reported. In both cases, ultrasonography revealed two target signs. The large target sign is usually seen in ordinal intussusception. The small target sign near by the large one was equal to an inverted Meckel's diverticulum from the operative findings.
When two target signs are demonstrated and these sizes are different, intussusception due to an inverted Meckel's diverticulum should be considered.
