A 59-year-old woman had a gas-containing gallstone without calcification. Ultrasonogram of the gallstone showed double high echoes. The proximal echo was crescent, and the distal echo in the center of the gallstone was a dot. The proximal echo was a reflection from the liquid-solid interface, and the distal echo was a reflection from the solid-gas interface.
