Sixty-nine patients with 70 histologically comfirmed breast tumors, including 16 benign masses and 54 malignant masses were evaluated in this study. Color flow signals were detected in all tumors within the lesions using color Doppler sonography. Spectra of these flow signals were analyzed by pulsed Doppler sonography and a resistance index [RI=(maximal velocity-minimal velocity)/maximal velocity] was calculated.
