A case of primary pancreatic lymphoma forming a giant mass in a short period is described here. The patient was a 69-year-old man with chief complaints of vomiting and nausea. Ultrasonography performed on 19 July 1998 showed a hypoechoic, homogenous mass 6 cm in diameter in the pancreatic head. Degree of intravascular infiltration was angiographycally mild for such a large lesion. Tumor markers were normal. On 6 August 1998, however, ultrasonography showed the mass to have become a heterogenous and to have a diameter of 10 cm. The mass had a treelike signal pattern.
