心臓超音波検査法における教育効果の向上を目指した教育教材作成の試み

目的:超音波検査法は日常臨床において必要不可欠な検査法である.超音波検査初学者の技術習得において,検査の対象となる臓器の解剖を充分に理解することは最も重要である.しかしながら,超音波検査法のための解剖学習用教材は現在のところ少ない.本研究では,新たに超音波検査法学習用の心臓標本と解剖手順を考案・開発し,その教育効果を評価した.対象と方法:対象である医学部保健学科検査技術科学専攻3年生79名を,従来の超音波検査学実習(2日間,計9時間)のみ実施する群,実習前に新しい解剖手順を用いた心臓解剖実習を実施する群,従来の実習に心臓標本を導入する群の計3群にランダムに分類した.それぞれの教育効果は実習前後の記述試験およびアンケート調査によって評価した.結論:心臓標本,解剖実習はそれぞれ,超音波検査法における教育効果の向上と意識の向上に有用性を認めた.
Purpose: Ultrasonography is a critical tool for clinical investigation. For newcomers learning ultrasound technology, an anatomical understanding of each organ being imaged is crucial. However, few resources have been available for learning anatomy as it relates to ultrasonography. Therefore, we devised and developed a new heart model and dissection procedure for learning about echocardiography and examined their educational effectiveness. Subjects and Methods: We divided 79 3rd-year health science students into three groups: a group with conventional echocardiography training only (2 days, total 9 hours); a group that performed the new heart dissection procedure prior to training; and a group to which the new heart model was introduced during training. The educational effectiveness of the heart model and dissection procedure was evaluated by descriptive examinations and a questionnaire before and after training. Conclusion: The heart model and dissection practice were each useful in enhancing educational effectiveness and improving awareness regarding echocardiography.
