Human lymphocytes were exposed to pulsed ultrasound generated by USP-1 standard generator. No increase of chromosomal aberration was observed after the exposure to pulsed ultrasound with mean intensity of 500 mW/cm², peak value of 50 W/cm², pulse width of 10 μs and repetition frequency of 1000 Hz. Weak diagnostic pulsed ultrasound was irradiated to in vitro human whole blood for 24 hrs. No increase of hemolysis of the blood nor of SEM detectable morphological change of red blood cells was observed comparing to control group. Intense pulsed ultrasound of USP-1 generator was also irradiated to human blood in vitro, but no increase of hemolysis nor red blood cell change was noted. No effect of pulsed ultrasound on human circulating blood cell was estimated from these results. Utility of ultrasound diagnosis in early pregnancy was improved by simultaneous use of hormone examinations on serum hCG, hPL and progesterone. New diagnostic system utilizing GS, hCG, BBT, gestational weeks and fetal UCG was studied for the acquisition of most useful diagnosis of early pregnancy with the least exposure of the fetus (embryo) to diagnostic ultrasound.
