Open Access for Articles in Journal of Medical Ultrasonics
To our members:
We will be introducing a service (Open Choice) that will allow authors to choose open access for their articles in our English-language Journal of Medical Ultrasonics. With the introduction of this service, the general public including non-members will have open access to the full articles of authors who choose Open Choice publication. Going forward, after a paper has been accepted, authors will receive an email from Springer instructing them how to use its system to choose whether or not they would like to publish open access. Please note that choosing open access involves a fee of EUR 2,200 (you can choose to pay by credit card or to have an invoice sent to you).
In addition, the copyright remains with the authors under a Creative Commons Attribute License (CC BY*) (a license that permits unrestricted use), the fact of which is indicated in articles. When authors choose not to publish open access, we will continue to have authors transfer the copyright to JSUM as in the past.
Please make use of open access to increase the visibility of your excellent research results to a worldwide audience.
